Deep Tissue treatments release endogenous Opioids; specifically Naprapathic Manual Therapy. There needs to be a big pivot and BIG referral system going on from straights to holistic practitioners so that patients can benefit from my and others treatments.

Massage therapy with oil is not the same. Not by any stretch. Their technique does not release the same endogenous opioids as deep tissue. In fact, too many patients have come in and told me that the massage therapist hurt them. It’s because of the way they are trained. It’s the fault of the teachers and the massage therapy schools and needs to stop.
